Chris Christie: President Obama ‘Has Been Great’ And ‘All Over’ Hurricane

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, whose state has been devastated by Hurricane Sandy, says that President Obama “has been great,” and “all over” the hurricane. Christie could not give the President enough credit, repeating, “the President’s been great” three times in this one-minute clip from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” today. Christie also said he spoken with President Obama three times yesterday and FEMA called him at 2:00 AM to expedite their assistance.

Governor Christie, who was chosen as the GOP’s keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention last month, said, “it’s been very good working with the president.”

Christie was not as kind to the Fox & Friends team this morning.

“After talking about what was being done in response to Hurricane Sandy, host Steve Doocy asked about rumors that Mitt Romney would be accompanying Christie to tour the damage. That’s when the governor let loose,” The Blaze reported:

“I have no idea nor am I the least bit concerned or interested,” Christie said. “I’ve got a job to do here in New Jersey that’s much bigger than presidential politics, and I could care less about any of that stuff. I have a job to do, I’ve got 2.4 million people out of power, I’ve got devastation on the shore, I’ve got floods in the northern part of my state. If you think right now I give a damn about presidential politics then you don’t know me.”
