Cain Sexual Harassment Charges: 2 Days Of Evolving In 3 Minutes

Yesterday and today feel like a week’s worth of Herman Cain dancing around the sexual harassment charges disclosed by Politico, in which two women claim Cain sexually harassed them while he was the head of the National Restaurant Association. Cain went from “never happened,” to “I don’t remember signing the agreement,” to… Well, as you can see in a video, compiled by Sam Wilkes and featured in a piece today at The Huffington Post by Jason Linkins, Cain has come full circle.

“Herman Cain isn’t exactly aiding his cause with his public statements on the matter. Cain’s troubles began with the post-“Face The Nation” confrontation with Politico’s Jonathan Martin, in which he responded to the question, “Have you ever been accused, sir, in your life of harassment by a woman?” by answering, “Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?” Since then, it’s been an interesting ride of denials followed by adjustment to the denials, and insistences of having no knowledge of various details followed by admissions of prior knowledge. Cain’s past 48 hours of explanations can be said to be “ever-evolving” — though the one constant has been his persistent assertion that the charges levied against him while he served as CEO of the National Restaurant Association are false.”

Note: Apparently, the video is hosted by 5 Minute Video and is “authorized” for embedding only at Huffington Post. Odd, but true. Head over to Jason Linkins’ piece to see it.
