British Teens On Trial For Manslaughter Called Victim “Fucking Faggot.”
One male and two female British teens, Joel Alexander, Ruby Thomas, and Rachel Burke, are all facing charges for manslaughter.
In 2009, Ian Baynham died of a head trauma said to have been sustained during an exchange with the teens. During this encounter Mr. Baynham was punched in the face, knocked to the ground. He, then, was kicked repeatedly in the head and chest as he lay there. This was all after one of the teens, Ms. Ruby Thomas, had called him “a fucking faggot.”
The three teens are pleading not guilty to the charge of manslaughter.
