Breitbart Pulls A Weiner? Photo of Weiner’s Weiner Hacked – Right Out Of Breitbart’s Hands?

Today, a photo reportedly of Congressman Anthony Weiner’s genitals was reportedly published on Twitter, reportedly by Gregg Hughes, “Opie,” of the Opie and Anthony Radio show. Andrew Breitbart, who previously vowed to not publish or release any additional evidence from the Congressman’s illicit interactions with a half-dozen women, claims that “a photograph resembling one that I had withheld from publication in the Weinergate saga was released without my knowledge or permission.”

“Prior to the publication of our story on BigGovernment.com and BigJournalism.com this past Monday morning, it was necessary to show the pictures I had received from our source to several news producers, including several at major news networks, to prove that the additional material I described really did exist, which some have continued to doubt,” Breitbart said in a statement. Of course, the photo of Weiner’s genitals, without any of Weiner’s body above the stomach, would be instantly recognizable to all “news producers, including several at major news networks,” who for some reason would be able to identify and verify the Congressman’s genitals on sight.

“This morning, I showed a photograph, which our source claims Weiner sent her, to radio hosts “Opie and Anthony” of the Sirius XM radio network on my mobile device,” Breitbart states. “Somehow, without my knowledge or permission, apparently a picture was taken of my mobile device, and subsequently published by Opie (Gregg Hughes) on Twitter.”

Anthony Cumia, Anthony of Opie and Anthony, also stated, “In regards to the photo of Anthony Weiner that was leaked by members of The Opie And Anthony show on 6/8, I want to make it clear that Andrew Breitbart had no knowledge that this photo was being made public. A phone with the photo was being displayed and a camera in the studio caught it. It was then uploaded to twitter [sic], again, without Andrew Breitbarts [sic] knowledge.”

No one takes responsibility for anything here! “It was then uploaded to twitter,” after “a camera in the studio caught it.” Typical. And Breitbart had nothing to do with it.

Of course, it’s possible that “radio hosts ‘Opie and Anthony’ of the Sirius XM radio network” — or their employees — stole Breitbart’s cell phone, without his knowledge or permission, and then somehow replaced it on his person. Of course, there are laws against that, and I assume Breitbart will be pressing charges in that case.

Once again, Breitbart finds himself in the middle of a scandal he helped perpetuate, and in which he, too, got stung. Will the pseudo-journalist/media whore ever learn?

Will Andrew Breitbart now apologize to Anthony Weiner, as Weiner apologized to Breitbart? All he could say was, “I regret that this occurred.” Again, no responsibility.

Typical.
