Prop 8, the federal trial which will determine the future of same-sex marriage in California, and possibly, down the road, the entire country, will be decided tomorrow, Wednesday, August 4, 2010.
I’m writing that date because I want you to remember the day the world (at least, our world,) changed.
It is my personal hope and belief that Judge Vaughn Walker will rule that Proposition 8 is unconstitutional, which will in essence make California, once again, one of a handful of states in this country that offer marriage to all its citizens, regardless of the gender of their loved one.
We’ll see what happens, and how the Right responds.
