Reports are flooding in of a shooting by an as yet unnamed assailant of a security guard at the Family Research Council’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, at about 10:50 AM today. The guard is alive and his injuries are being reported as non-life-threatening. The FBI is investigating. There has not yet been any motive reported.
“The police are investigating this incident,” Tony Perkins, president of the FRC said via a statement. “Our first concern is with our colleague who was shot today. Our concern is for him and his family.”
