Breaking: Sarah Palin Calls Joe Miller A “Lost Cause”
Minutes ago, and just days before the 2010 midterm elections, former Governor Sarah Palin, via Twitter, called Joe Miller a “lost cause.” Miller, whom she not only supported, but whose Tea Party candidacy for the U.S. Senate Palin skyrocketed, has been known to make gaffes, and then “refudiate” them, but this is substantial, as Miller, should he win his three-way race, could be a powerful voice for the Tea Party in the Senate.
Friday night, Palin tweeted, “Joe Miller – do not give up. It’s you against the machine. This is it. “‘Lost causes’ are the only ones worth fighting for.” Clarence Darrow”
Palin has endorsed dozens of candidates, but Miller, who is running in her home state of Alaska, is thought to be representative of the Palin brand.
Editorial note: TPM adds some additional insight into how ignorant Palin’s choice of words was.
