BREAKING: NH Governor Still Has Not Received The Gay Marriage Bill. I called the Governor’s office today. As of 11:39 AM, Governor Lynch has yet to receive New Hampshire’s gay marriage bill. The Governor, who has promised to keep an open mind, despite his personal objections to same-sex marriage, has five days (not including Sundays) to sign the bill, veto the bill, or, as many had assumed had already happened, let the bill slide into law without taking any action. The question remains: Why hasn’t the New Hampshire legislature delivered the bill to the Governor?
