Breaking: DOMA Ruled Unconstitutional By Federal Appeals Court Again

DOMA has yet again been ruled unconstitutional, by a federal court of appeals in Manhattan this morning, in the Edie Windsor case. This is the eighth federal court to declare section 3 of DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996 that bans the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages, unconstitutional.

The decision this time was not unanimous, with one judge on the three judge panel dissenting.
