var addthis_config = {“data_track_addressbar”:true};Bradlee Dean, the Christian rocker and youth minister who sued MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in a $50 million defamation lawsuit and was recently ordered to pay Maddow’s court costs — almost $25,000 — is creating a social media “army” that literally gives children tasks to spread “God’s” word.
Given Dean’s anti-gay focus, it is concerning what words he might be asking children to spread “through the power of the share button!” since he’s looking to create an “irate tireless minority setting brush fires of freedom everywhere!”
Bradlee Dean is the head of the SPLC-certified anti-gay hate group, You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International (YCRBYCHI), and his Bradlee Dean Youth Ministry has created what they’re calling “Gideon’s Media Army” to “bring the truths of biblical living and American values to the world through the internet [sic]. The program will use volunteers who will post, blog and use online means to boost the visibility of our mission, which is ‘To reshape America by re-directing the current and future generations both morally and spiritually.'”
Dean’s Bradlee Dean Youth Ministry adds:
It is ever more urgent to use the internet to get our message out, since this is where people hang out, especially the young. Think of how many people we can reach! It does not take an overwhelming majority to reform society. It only takes an irate tireless minority setting brush fires of freedom everywhere!
The Gideon’s Media Army program will empower you to stand up in your community! You will be shining the light of truth among your friends through the power of the share button!

You, as a committed Christian and guardian of the truth of the Gospel and of the American Constitution, will make Facebook posts and put in links from other websites, which will let others know about the message of our ministry. Your friends will then see the truly important issues of the day being discussed. We will be setting a goal, such as so many hundreds, or thousands of posts per month, and we will be telling our fans how close we get to the goal. We need to talk it up and carry Gideon’s torch!

You must be a practicing Christian, at least 13 years old, have a Facebook page, and be able to help You Can Run, International on a volunteer basis, from wherever you can get an internet connection. You must have a minimum computer know-how, such as how to copy and paste a “URL,†or website address, into a Facebook post.
Apparently, there are “assignments.”
What is a Typical Task of a Gideon Media Soldier? Throughout the week, via email, members will be given assignments. Examples will be:
- Comment on one of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide’s Facebook pages: 1)Facebook.com/TheSonsOfLibertyRadio, 2) Facebook.com/YouCanRunIntl, 3)www.facebook.com/JunkyardProphet, or 4) Facebook.com/bradlee.dean.7?fref=ts
- Comment on a video at one of the ministry’s three YouTube channels: 1) Bradlee Dean and The Sons of Liberty, 2) You Can Run International, or 3) Junkyard Prophet.
- Comment on another social media platform, such as Google+, or Tumblr, about one of the ministry’s websites.
- Ask your school or church to link to www.YouCanRunInternational.com,  www.BradleeDeanBlog.com,  www.MyWarFilm.com, or other website.
- Report back to us with how many posts and links you made.
- Pray that God will touch the hearts of all who come to our websites and blogs.

In March, Dean’s You Can Run But You Cannot Hide made headlines after members of his “Junkyard Prophet†Christian rock band, hired by an Iowa school, claimed “the average age of death of a homosexual man is 42 years old,†and showed photos of aborted fetuses to the junior high and high school students.
