Why is it those who claim to be devout Christians — so devout they take it upon themselves to act as God’s warriors (like he wants warriors?) often seem to get the Bible very wrong? And why is it they always focus on just those parts of the Bible that they seem to care about — frankly, they seem to care a lot about?
NYC- based comedian, actor, and political commentator, John Fugelsang, who very generously shared both his photos and his comments for two of our pieces on 9/11 protests at Ground Zero in New York City Sunday, recorded this video, “Bible Lessons for Westboro Baptist,” earlier this year, but it’s just as applicable today.
You may not agree with all Fugelsang has to say, but I dare you to disagree with his overall message.
