Michele Bachman sent a fear-mongering fundraising video via email to supporters yesterday that reeks of desperation. The email, which warns of “desperate consequences” if the “radical” and “hyper-liberal policies” win — and she loses.
And she very well may. Michele Bachmann’s latest poll numbers are frightening — if you’re Michele Bachmann or one of her apparently dwindling supporters.

“I’ve gone to great lengths to get you this audio email,” the text, taken from this unlisted YouTube video reads. “Please take just a few moments to click on and listen to my special urgent message and make an important and critical contribution to my campaign immediately. You can make a donation at any time during the message.
I’m fighting with every ounce of energy I have to ensure I’m back in Congress fighting for you and our shared values. But it won’t be easy. I have to fight against the massive influx of spending, lies, and mistruths coming from the liberals, who know that this is their last chance to implement their radical agenda across America.
The text of the audio email Bachmann reads includes phrases like:
“most important election of our generation,”
“we know the dire consequences should the liberals win,”
“desperate” Democrats have “specifically targeted me for defeat,”
“pass hyper-liberal policies,”
“Putting thousands, if not ill ions, out of work, by adopting the radical environmentalist dream of Cap and Trade”
“EPA”
liberals “are returning fire with unbelievable force”
liberals “are scared of me, knowing that I represent a major threat to their success”
liberals have “started to unload their arsenal in my district”
“Nancy Pelosi”
liberals “intend to spend any amount of money to remove me from office”
CREDO has named “me their number one target, ahead of all other conservative heroes,”
“I’m a clear threat to their liberal values”
“the liberal machine … runs the town of Washington”
“We’ve got to win this because our country’s future depends on it”
Bachmann will also be speaking at the Values Voters Summit, sponsored by anti-gay hate groups, starting Friday.
