Attorney General Refuses To Investigate Man Arrested For Dumping Voter Registration Forms
Ken Cuccinelli, the Attorney General of Virginia (image, top), is refusing to investigate Colin Small, the man arrested for throwing into a dumpster voter registration forms. Small, who worked directly for Nathan Sproul, and for one of his companies and subcontractors, has been charged with eight felonies and five misdemeanors. Sproul has been paid millions of dollars by Mitt Romney and the RNC, despite being the subject of many voter fraud allegations. Sproul and his companies, which have been reported as shell companies that change names and locations, has worked in at least 30 states, especially key battleground states.
Cuccinelli claims he will only investigate when the state board of elections makes an official request, and the board has stated they will not, despite Small’s direct ties to Sproul.
“State Senator Donald McEachin, who is chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus, asked the attorney general to investigate following the arrest of Colin Small,” WTRV, a local CBS affiliate in Richmond Virginia, reported:
“There’s no way to tell by party when people fill out these forms, what party they’re affiliated with, so I don’t think there’s any political motivation,† Virginia Registrar Brandi Lilly said Friday.
Of course, Small easily could have determined the registrants’ party affiliation by asking them.
AG Cuccinelli, who is now running for governor of Virginia, and is actively campaigning for Mitt Romney, rose to infamy after he worked to strip Virginia LGBT citizens and LGBT state workers of anti-discrimination protections, and worked to ensure invasive trans vaginal ultrasounds would be part of state anti-abortion laws and worked to ensure abortion clinics were as encumbered with as many regulations as he could find to put them out of business.
