Andrew Sullivan: “Joe Solmonese Must Resign” If DADT Repeal Fails “In This Congress”
In, “Petty Politics While Gay Troops Fight On,” Andrew Sullivan details McCain’s lies — which are also detailed by Rachel Maddow, Kerry Eleveld, and Chris Geidner — and, long story short, comes up with this ultimatum:
“All I can say is that if Obama ends his first term still firing gay servicemembers, he will reap the whirlwind from gay voters and our families. And if we do not get a successful vote in this Congress, Joe Solmonese must resign.”
Anyone disagree?
Of course, not the first time Sullivan has called for Solmonese to resign. Both instances have merit.
