As news breaks today that Chick-Fil-A has decided to stop funding anti-gay organizations and anti-gay hate groups, allow me to remind all anti-gay organizations, all anti-gay hate groups, and all anti-gay politicos, that despite your own entrenched hypocrisy, you would be unwise to attack neither Chick-Fil-A for this move, nor the LGBT community, nor Chicago Alderman Moreno, as this was a negotiated action made in a free market capitalistic system. But more importantly to your messaging, Chick-Fil-A has now, supposedly, decided to become the corporate entity you promote: one that is “neutral” in the “culture wars.”

Any attempt on your part to attack, denigrate, or otherwise twist this story — or fundraise off of it — will be clearly seen as hypocritical by all Americans, especially those barraged with your constant messaging promoting “neutrality.”
Any attempts to claim this violates Chick-Fil-A’s free speech will be seen as ludicrous, as they willingly and voluntarily made this decision in a free market capitalistic environment, in negotiations they entered into willingly.
In short, Chick-Fil-A has succumbed to your own wishes, on your own terms.
Any negative response on your parts will be met, quite frankly, with laughter from all Americans.
