“God Hates Fags” Spews Its Hate To Canadian High School Students

Fred Phelps has a hate group. It masquerades as the Westboro Baptist Church and is called “God Hates Fags”. It “travels nationally to picket the funerals of gay victims of murder, gay-bashing or death related to AIDS, as well as other events related or peripherally related to gay people.”
Ontario has a high school. They’re putting on a play.
Fred doesn’t like the play. He’s sending his hate-mongering picketers across the border into Canada to protest a play that fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen year olds are putting on. The play is about a boy. You’ve heard of him. His name was Matthew Shepard and he was murdered because he was gay.
“The Laramie Project” is a play about a twenty-two year old college student who ten years ago was brutally murdered for being gay. Uxbridge Secondary School is putting on this play and Fred Phelps and his band of evil, anything-but-god-loving hoodlums are going to protest and picket. This is what Fred thinks:
Fred, you want to scare some people? Why not pick on someone your own size? Leave the kids alone.
