62% Of Republicans In Ohio Are Liars

There are those on the right who think facts — like anthropogenic climate change, evolution, and Barack Obama is responsible for the killing of Osama bin Laden — are topics reasonable people should be able to debate. No doubt some of these people are the same ones who think “fair and balanced” is a journalistic prerequisite in all situations, and so would demand a reporter writing about racism invite, say, David Duke or his KKK buddies to debate, say, Al Sharpton, or would demand a reporter writing about the Holocaust find someone to support Hitler, for “balance.”

Sometimes, there aren’t two sides to a story. Sometimes, facts are just facts.

In no other country but America are anthropogenic climate change, evolution, and the killing of Osama bin Laden up for debate. But on that last point, at least, 62% of Republicans in Ohio think differently.

As a just-released Public Policy Polling poll published Sunday evening revealed, only 38% of Ohio Republicans say President Obama is responsible for the killing of Osama bin Laden, while a whopping 47% are “unsure,” and 15% responded, “Mitt Romney,” proving that 62% of Republicans in Ohio are liars.
