"Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land." - Fox News

It certainly appears that Donald Trump is still nursing a grudge against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.
Trump has been angry at the Fox News golden girl ever since the first Republican debate last August, when Ms. Kelly took him to task over his treatment of women, repeating a list of insulting and misogynistic remarks the Republican presidential frontrunner has made. You will no doubt recall that question so angered Trump that the following day he made his infamous remark about how Kelly "had blood coming out of her nose – out of her wherever.”
Trump skipped the next debate hosted by Fox News-hosted, because Fox refused to replace Kelly a moderator. And he often calls Ms. Kelly "crazy Megyn" in his Twitter attacks on her. The man just can't seem to help himself.
Crazy @megynkelly supposedly had lyin' Ted Cruz on her show last night. Ted is desperate and his lying is getting worse. Ted can't win!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 17, 2016
Highly overrated & crazy @megynkelly is always complaining about Trump and yet she devotes her shows to me. Focus on others Megyn!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 17, 2016
Yesterday, Trump used his Twitter account to call for a boycott of Megyn Kelly's Fox News Show, The Kelly File.
Everybody should boycott the @megynkelly show. Never worth watching. Always a hit on Trump! She is sick, & the most overrated person on tv.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 18, 2016
According to The Hill, a spokesperson for Fox News defended their reporter (take note Breitbart) and slammed Trump, accusing the Apprentice star of having a “sick obsession” with Ms. Kelly.
“Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land.
"Megyn is an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America — we’re extremely proud of her phenomenal work and continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump’s endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults. As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it’s especially deplorable for her to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job.”
This latest attack on Kelly appears to have been in response to an appearance by Trump opponent Ted Cruz on Kelly's show Wednesday, after which she tweeted a poll that shows women are increasingly finding Trump unacceptable.
Even Trump's friend Geraldo Rivera took him to task, tweeting he thinks Trump's obsession with Megyn Kelly is "weird"
Knowing that Trump does not take criticism well, we'll watch Trump's Twitter timeline to see how he responds.
