California Senator Barbara Boxer thinks women should not vote for Donald Trump. Not even a single one.
The Hill reports that Senator Boxer took to her own sparsely used Twitter account to renounce the Apprentice star this week, after Trump famously retweeted a glamor shot of his own wife Melania, and an unflattering image of Heidi Cruz, wife of Trump's arch-rival Senator Ted Cruz.
Trump's retweet, and his threat to "spill the beans" about Heidi Cruz, (whatever that means) was just too much for Senator Boxer to ignore. The senator, who up to now has avoided public critiques of the Republican frontrunner, tweeted in response:
The beans are spilled: No woman should vote for Donald Trump. https://t.co/gM8S1bmrSi— Barbara Boxer (@BarbaraBoxer) March 24, 2016
.@RealDonaldTrump has once again insulted all women. He does not deserve even one woman’s vote.— Barbara Boxer (@BarbaraBoxer) March 24, 2016
By the way, if you are wondering which candidate Senator Boxer is supporting, her Twitter timeline left no uncertainty:
