Dan Savage, co-founder of the It Gets Better project, minutes ago said via Twitter that they have “removed the 49ers It Gets Better video from our website.”
San Francisco 49ers’ Chris Culliver has now released a statement in which he apologizes for his anti-gay comments, claiming that those “discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart.”
Sunday’s Super Bowl will include at least one anti-gay player: San Francisco 49er defensive back Chris Culliver, who says there are no gay players on his team — and there better not be.
