This weekend a tabloid in Uganda is publishing names and photos of people it claims are gay, amid a nationwide attack on the LGBT community during a four-year battle to pass the “Kill The Gays” bill.
Pastor Ssempa, a top advocate for the Uganda Kill The Gays bill, says in this video that he is working to make sure that homosexuality is never legal.
Uganda’s “Kill The Gays” bill, which would provide the death penalty for the “crime” of being gay, is about to come to a vote in the next 24 hours.
Uganda religious leader Ssempa, who teamed up with Bahati, author of the Kill The Gays bill, told lawmakers “homosexuality is killing our society.”
