Mark Regnerus is the author of a right-wing funded anti-gay “study” that falsely purported to have examined children of same-sex couples and “found” that they were far worse off than their peers raised by married different-sex couples. He is right now a star witness for the state of Michigan in a court case that will decide the fate of same-sex marriage in The Great Lakes State.

Charlie Langton, according to his Twitter bio, is an “Attorney, TV/Radio Legal Analyst WJBK Fox 2 and WWJ News Radio 950.” His WCBS News bio is actually rather fascinating.

Langton has been tweeting testimony from the court.

Look at this tweet he just posted minutes ago:

“Diminished kinship”?

Really?

One response to that tweet reads: “sounds like a white supremacist.”

I’ll leave that to you to decide.

But “diminished kinship”?

Really?

I'm glad he's on the other guy's side.

All he is, is a modern day Hitler … preaching hate.

I'm so looking forward to digesting the full transcript of his testimony. It's been too long that he's been spewing without having to defend himself under oath.

Someone needs to ask him why he hates women.
Wonder if he will catch the connection.,

I don't understand how the Michigan courts can list him as a witness. Why would they allow him to speak after his own university just through his work in the trash!

Just because the judge allowed him to testify does not mean that his testimony will be taken seriously. Remember that in the Prop 8 trial, David Blankenhorn was allowed to testify (and, after being cross-examined by David Boies, it turned out to be beneficial for us). In his decision, however, Judge Vaughn Walker said that Blankenhorn's testimony was not that of an expert; it was merely his opinion and was accorded no evidentiary weight. I suspect that this will be the same for Regnerus and that Judge Friedman may well cite the statement from the Sociology Department at the University of Texas as well as the criticism of Regnerus by many other scholars as well as the American Sociology Association.

Sorry religious bigots, you can pay a "researcher" all the money in the world (in this case $750,000) to push your hateful ideology and push your anti-gay agenda but just don't call it "science". Regnerus' study is the laughing stock of the academic community, and has even been disavowed by his own university.

Mark Regnerus is indeed an updated version of Hitler, cloaking it in some laughable "science" yet the message is the same — the only thing that matters is genetic purity, the rest can go to the ovens. And this is happening in Uganda and Russia, with Regnerus' help. Mark you have blood on your hands and you will have hell to pay.
