Pastor: Civil Unions Will Lead To NAMBLA Pedophilia And Gays Burning Christians At The Stake

Today, a civil unions bill passed through a Colorado senate committee. On Monday, Pastor Kevin Swanson warned that if Colorado allows civil unions for same-sex couples, gays will end up burning Christians at the stake, and homeschooled children will be given over to pedophiles — the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA).

Right Wing Watch has the audio. Here’s is their transcript from Pastor Swanson’s show:

Swanson: You need to understand the agenda here. What’s happening is they want homosexuals to be able to be involved in adoption and foster care as much anybody else. So picture a nice little homeschool family, just trying to do the right thing. An anonymous tip comes in, social services swoops in, they grab the kids in the year 2022 and the kids get remanded into a home with homosexuals and these particular homosexuals happen to be tied into NAMBLA and other things. You know what’s going to happen. There will be proper indoctrination into a certain kind of worldview, shall we say.

Buehner: One that the Bible calls for capital punishment. That kind of worldview. It’ll be a tragedy in that house.

Swanson: Yeah. It’s a tragedy. It’s a tragedy. And I think there are a lot of concerned parents. There are concerned Catholic parents. There are concerned homeschool parents. And especially when you get a Regnerus study that comes out and says they’re ten times more likely to be touched sexually by a parent in a homosexual home than, you know, the normal American secular home. Wow. That’s frightening.

Right Wing Watch adds “it won’t end there:

Swanson walks us through his version of gay history, from “weird” and “decadent” marriages during the reign of Nero to the early 20th century when there were only “three homosexuals in the world” to the present day when “we have a problem that’s probably about 10,000 times if not 100,000 times worse than it was 100 years ago.” We’re coming full circle, Swanson argues, and soon gay-friendly churches “will do their best to burn Christians at the stake or do what Nero did… because that’s sort of the history of homosexuals.”

I wonder if a roasted marshmallow would taste better if it were heated over a burning bigot. Where do these morons come up with this junk?

What ever happened to the time when people who lived in an imaginary fantasy-world would be given a psychiatric evaluation and then given drugs or institutionalization until they got more in touch with reality? Have we reached the point where we must value people's imaginary view of an imaginary world as thought it is valid and real? IMHO — if your view is entirely based on fantasy, then your remarks and comments about things are NOT as valid as mine. It is NOT OK to be crazy; your views should NOT be given the same value as truth. Your imaginary construct of LGBT people is not that different from Tolkien's construct of Orks. You could substitute "orks" every place he uses 'homosexual' and the comment would be just as valid as it is now.

Also — I wasn't holding my breath until the specious "Regnerus Study" entered the common lexicon of the crazies. This is why it is so important that this so-called "study" be trashed as the garbage that it clearly is. It needs to be thoroughly debunked once-and-for-all. This site has done much of the work to make that happen and is to be commended for your efforts. How hard is it to understand the old rule-of-thumb; "garbage in; garbage out?" IMHO anyone who even utters the word 'Regnerus' in a discussion except to denounce it, is immediately stripped of all credibility.

I want to give this 10 'thumbs-up' but only one is allowed. And I agree 10000% about anyone uttering the name "Regnerus" except in derision.

"What ever happened to the time when people who lived in an imaginary fantasy-world would be given a psychiatric evaluation and then given drugs or institutionalization until they got more in touch with reality?"
Don't you remember? Ronald Reagan thought it would be cheaper to close all the mental institutions and just give these people a monthly check. That's also the time America started to decline because we bought the "trickle down theory" idea, and stopped collecting half the taxes, we used to collect.

I recently emailed the prof. Regnerus and asked him two questions;

Question 1) In your summary of the 15,000 who took your survey, there were 455 Adult/Children who claimed they were raised by same sex parents, 92 of these claimed to have been molested. Who molested the 92 children? Was it the parent who was considered Gay/Lesbian? The parent who wasn't Gay/Lesbian? The neighborhood Preist? The High School football coach? A neighbor? An Uncle or aunt? You didn't put your full results in your study.

Question 2) Do you suppose that some of the negative consequences that come to children raised by same sex partners, could come from outside sources? Just recently a boy being "bullied" came to school to shoot the children who bullied him. Could it be possible, that some children suffer mental problems and other issues due to the ill effects of being mistreated because they, or their family are somewhat different then what some people believe to be "normal"?

His response was this;

"We did not collect information on the sources of the sexual victimization. And yes, negative consequences may come from other sources, like the one you mention. The article did not seek to definitively state the sources of the differences, but rather to note them."

This man who was paid $750,000, by NOM and Witherspoon, (both anti-Gay groups) was only interested in collecting data that makes us Gay's look bad. He is not interested in the truth, or science, just the money he can make from all the Anti-Gay hate groups out there.

Yeah, it's meant to be, you lyin ass shit for brains god-swoggler. Your whole piece is nothing but fear mongering to keep your simple-minded followers on your straight and narrow; from the straw man imaginary home school family whose kiddies are donated to NAMBLA to your last bit of unsubstantiated bull pucky.

We're onto your kind and your fearmongering, hatemongering, bigoted assholery. It doesn't work on us, but it does work on the simple, the ignorant, the undereducated, the superstitious.

This pastor is one of the reasons that reasoning Americans are turning away from organized religion.
Keep up the good work, Swanson. It is only from good loudmouths like you that organized religion's swan song draws nigh. (see what I did there?)

But just remember boys and girls….. In the Christian world view, sending gays and lesbians to extermination camps is A-OK.

when DIVERSITY becomes PERVERSITY

The typical UNIVERSITY now prides itself on DIVERSITY. But watch out when DIVERSITY becomes PERVERSITY. That's when God will put His CURSE-ITY on the whole world (see Malachi 4:6 – NIV)!
For dessert Google "Separation of Raunch and State," "God to Same-Sexers: Hurry Up" and "Dangerous Radicals of the Religious Right."

Ya know. I really think these right wing nuts make it a challenge to see who can make the most hateful remark.

I think they all need to go for a Psychological exam, sounds a bit schizophrenic if you ask me ( just learned about mental disorders in school)

Can you imagine the fear behind this post? I can — and it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Rather than making snide remarks about this guy (and others like him), let's instead hope and pray that his fear is healed, and do our best to talk back to the fear and educate people like him. Only by being a stand for the truth will we be able to shift this fear into the light.

Let's focus on healing the fear and send compassion to this poor, deluded (self-righteous and annoying, but still kind of pathetic) guy.

I just. Had to make an account because of this.

The first weenie roast will be Mr. Tony Perkins, followed by all his self serving, tax evading KKKrister assholes who have made a mockery of the 501(c)(3) laws.
