One Million Moms is very worried about children who will be watching NBC’s “The New Normal” in central time, as it airs there “before 10:00 p.m. which is primetime and when children are likely awake.” Of course, One Million Moms is very worried about anyone of any age watching “The New Normal” in any timezone, naturally, as it’s “unsuitable.”
This unsuitable program airs before 10:00 p.m. which is primetime and when children are likely awake especially in the Central Time Zone. The show airs on Tuesday evenings at 9:30/8:30 p.m. Central. It is no surprise that openly gay Ryan Murphy is one of the executive producers and director. Murphy also brought us “American Horror Story,” “GLEE,” and “Nip/Tuck.”
NBC is using public airwaves to continue to subject families to the decay of morals and values, and to belittle the sanctity of marriage in attempting to redefine marriage. These things are harmful to our society, and this program is damaging to our culture.
And by “our society,” One Million Moms means people dedicated to hate and 15th century mentalities.
Millions of Americans strongly believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman,” One Million Moms states on their website action alert page. “NBC’s “The New Normal” is attempting to desensitize America and our children. This storyline is the opposite of how families are designed and created.
There actually are millions of LGBT people in American, and hundreds of thousands are raising families, whether OMM likes it or not.
One Million Moms warned NBC we would contact any and all sponsors of this program if they continue to broadcast it.
So there, NBC!
The email One Million Moms would like you to send goes to L’oreal, Olive Garden, Macy’s, Arby’s, CVS, and Walgreens.
As a mother and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I strongly encourage your company to drop all plans of financially supporting the inappropriate NBC program “The New Normal.” This show is degrading to families and damaging to our culture.
I am appalled that NBC network is airing a show that features homosexuality in a positive light and mocks anyone who disagrees with the sinful lifestyle choice.
While your company is a household name, I do not agree with your financial backing of this program. As a Christian, I feel you are attacking my faith, morals, and values. Not only is this program insulting to conservative viewers and traditional families, but it also focuses on a controversial subject that your company would probably not desire to be associated with.
As a consumer, I am asking you to please pull your ad immediately, and to support traditional family values and family-friendly programming instead. My decision to support your company depends on it.
I urge your company to place “The New Normal” on your “do not advertise” list and consider pulling all ads from the NBC network in protest.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding my concern.
Of course, since OMM had “trouble” a few months ago, as The New Civil Rights Movement reported, I decided to test their system, and sent this email instead:
As an American, I strongly encourage your company to keep all plans of financially supporting the NBC program “The New Normal.” While One Million Moms says “this show is degrading to families and damaging to our culture,” I disagree and I’m glad you’re supporting equality, and not a small group of busybodies.
I am pleased that the NBC network is airing a show that features homosexuality in a positive light.
I agree with your financial backing of this program. As a human being, I am pleased with your values of inclusion.
As a consumer, I am asking you to please continue to sponsor The New Normal.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Recently, One Million Moms attacked Jennifer Lopez and ABC Family for producing a pilot about lesbians raising a “multi-ethnic mix of foster and biological kids.”
