Megachurch Pastor Says DOMA Ruling Is Evidence The ‘Rapture Is About To Occur’

The Pastor of a Texas Megachurch is claiming the Rapture is about to occur, and points to the Supreme Court’s DOMA ruling as proof. Matthew Hagee, the executive pastor of San Antonio, Texas megachurch Cornerstone Church, responded to a caller on his “internet based video channel with a mission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the Earth.”

Hagee is the youngest son of televangelism pioneer John Hagee. The elder Hagee in 2011 claimed Harry Potter is teaching children witchcraft and lamented America now bows to a Pagan god.

Last week, Matthew Hagee pointed to the biblical days of Noah and Lot “as examples” of men being “wicked” and “lying with other men.” So of course, Hagee then points to the recent Supreme Court decision on DOMA as proof of history repeating, and says, “that’s something that would have been applauded in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. So when you see these things similar to the days of Noah and similar to the days of Lot, it’s very easy to know that the rapture of the church is about to occur.”

No it isn't. See Argentina, New Zealand, Belgium, Norway, Brazil, Portugal, Canada, South Africa, Denmark, Spain, France, Sweden, Iceland, Uruguay, and Netherlands for actual evidence that it isn't.

He really needs to go have a chat with Harold Camping before saying this kind of thing….

Bring it on! You've seen the bumper stickers, "IN CASE OF RAPTURE, THIS CAR WILL BE EMPTY"? Well, leave the keys in the ignition, dumb asses. The first empty Lexus IS F is going to get a new owner: moi.

Get the folks when young, during their most mentally formative years of birth to around 7 years old and you can implant them with anything.

Brainwashed buffoons who use religion and human traits of being a social creature for their own gain; grabbing wealth and power from the demented fools following them.
