Post image for Mary Matalin: Obama A ‘Narcissistic Sociopath’ Who ‘Leveraged Fear And Ignorance’

Mary Matalin calls President Obama a “political narcissistic sociopath” who “leveraged fear and ignorance.” Matalin, the rancorous GOP strategist you’ve seen on TV a gazillion times, is the woman who’s married to Democratic strategist James Carville, whom you’ve seen on TV a gazillion times.

“What happened?,” Matalin posits. “A political narcissistic sociopath leveraged fear and ignorance with a campaign marked by mendacity and malice rather than a mandate for resurgence and reform. Instead of using his high office to articulate a vision for our future, Obama used it as a vehicle for character assassination, replete with unrelenting and destructive distortion, derision, and division.”

“Unfortunately and unfortuitously, forces of nature bookended the general election: Our convention was compromised by one weather disaster and our momentum stalled by another. Two human hurricanes also radically altered the political atmosphere: Bill Clinton’s unique windbaggery constituted a campaign updraft, while Chris Christie’s deplorable and gratuitous gas-baggery infused the campaign with a toxic political pollution.

“We live to fight again.”

Matalin wrote the above in the racist closet known as the National Review, home to the likes of Maggie Gallagher, Matalin also made similar comments in a Fox News appearance yesterday as well.

We report, you decide if she’s lying:

I think that the suggestion of "reform" (unless referring to 'turning back the clock') is about the only part of that diatribe that was not pure self-projection.

I think every word she used to describe President Obama would be better suited describing Mittens & Son. It is not "character assassination" to point out when someone is lying (fact checking by the moderator, anyone?), and poor Chris Christie, who is now suffering the full wrath of his party for accepting the help of the POTUS for his constituents. How dare he? Isn't a storm like rape, an "act of God"?? Some states rape so easy.

The reason the Republican party lost is because their candidate was unable to express or feel any emotion; because they alienated all but the most right winging, bible thumping ignorami of the racist South and Midwest; because it not as easy to get away with unadulterated lying when we all have computers and cell phones to fact check you; because the 47% Mittens wrote off were added to the Democratic percentage of 53% he could tolerate to vote; because President Obama cares about the issues important to the American people, where Mittens & Son care about the issues important to themselves…I could go on.

There are lessons for the GOP here, but they will not be learned. Much like addiction to anything else, you have to accept you have a problem first; the GOP's addiction to lying, thievery, misrepresentation, and most of all, a sociopathic elevation of the Rich White Male above every other flavor of human being will never be admitted or corrected. The best we can hope for is party politics to be abolished. Individuals should be in political positions to represent a constituency, not figureheads representing a party ideology. Neither party represents any constituency.

There are things the Democratic party does I do not agree with or that disappoint me, but the Republican party regularly disgusts and/or repels me on a visceral level. I would rather be disappointed than sickened.

Despite all odds, our President prevailed. He still has an uphill battle fighting a Red House which has blocked his every move in an attempt to squash his goals of bringing the Middle Class equal pay, women’s rights, gay rights and affordable healthcare. The Bush Administration drove our economy into a swift nose dive and Obama is still the patsy. Watch conservative hands paint him in Blackface with a visual commentary of how Barack has been bamboozled at

Why hasn't Carville divorced this delusional dummy?

Wow! Talk about projection — Matalin just outlined the "conservative" strategy of the past ten years.

Those were the words of a hateful, maniacal, xenophobic, bigoted racist; a seething pile of fetid crap whose soul is bursting with rage over the fact that a black man continues to hold the highest office in her beloved country as President of the United States. She represents a group of people whose hearts burn with hate for Obama, a group of people who pledged from the very beginning to make him a one-term president, and now that pledge has been stuffed down their collective throats by well-thinking Americans, who rejected their agenda of hate. They are a group of mainly old white men who feel like their racial, social and political dominance is now under siege. It is such a great pleasure for me to hear them weep, mourn, and complain over the ass-whipping that they received Tuesday night. It shows that, in the end, hate didn’t prevail.

The Republicans presented a candidate, in Mitt Romney, who is the real narcissist. This is a man, born into riches, who had achieved everything in life and saw being president as the ultimate self-actualizing goal, having no real desire to help the average American. In other words, his motive for seeking the office was purely selfish and egoistic. He thought that, because of his wealth and position, he was entitled to the presidency—especially when a black man was his opponent. Therefore, being a liar and a deceitful conman, he thought that he could just con and lie his way to this goal. Newt Gingrich, Romney’s own fellow Republican colleague called Romney a liar, and said that he was “fundamentally dishonest.” So if Mary Matalin, that disgusting old hag, wants to talk about mendacity, she should direct her accusations towards her candidate, Mitt Romney, because he had been caught lying to the American people countless times. That’s why the issue of trust became one of his major downfalls. Now, if Matalin and the rest of that bunch of Republican lunatics can’t handle losing to Obama and the Democrats, then I suggest that they do the world a favor and go kill themselves!

I shared this post with a friend; her response:
"someone should take her dictionary away from her. she's part of the reason that the republicans are so morally, mendaciously, majestically, malevolently, maliciously, maddeningly and materialistically out of touch."

Wow. I used to think Matalin was at least someone you could respect. It's pretty clear that she's been drinking a little too much of the GOP Kool Aid over the past several years. She's now completely over the edge of reality. What a nut bag. This is fitting. She's aligned with the right party. She's right at home safe in The GOP Sanitarium of Non-Reality.
