White House Does Not Deny Trump’s Remarks
The White House has responded to a Washington Post report which details President Trump’s remarks in the Oval Office earlier on Thursday, in which he complained about African immigrants from what he called “shithole” countries. The White House made no attempt to deny that the president called African countries and Haiti “shithole countries,” but claimed that’s just Trump fighting for America.

“Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people,” White House spokesperson Raj Shah said in a statement.Â
