Anthony Scaramucci, ousted as White House Communications Director ten days after being appointed by President Donald Trump, does not have any other role in the administration, Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Monday afternoon.

She also claimed President Trump felt Scaramucci's vulgar comments to a reporter were "inappropriate." The Daily Beast had reported Trump gave Scaramucci the "green light" to do anything to force now-former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus out the door.

Huckabee Sanders, in a surprise statement, said the President now has full confidence in all members of his cabinet, which would include Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

She also stated specifically all White House employees report to General John Kelly, Trump's new Chief of Staff who began in that role Monday. That would include White House Advisor Kellyanne Conway, White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, and White House Senior Advisor Jared Kushner, and Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump.

Huckabee Sanders also said the President's remarks Friday to local suburban New York police officers, during which he told them to be rough with the people they arrest, was merely a "joke."

The briefing was exceptionally short, even for this White House, and late in the day, starting even after the slated 3:45 PM time.
