White House: Russian Election Interference Is a ‘Past Problem’ and You Should Blame Obama for It
‘Let’s Not Forget That This Happened Under Obama’
Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded to reports the chief of U.S. Cyber Command has not been given any authorization to stop interference in the upcoming 2018 or 2020 elections by calling Russia’s so-called meddling “past problems” and one the President Barack Obama should be blamed for.
“This president, as I told you last week, has been much tougher on Russia than his predecessor,” Huckabee Sanders falsely claimed. “Let’s not forget that this happened under Obama. It didn’t happen under President Trump. If you want to blame somebody on past problems then you need to look at the Obama administration.”
