WATCH LIVE: Donald Trump Holds First Press Conference as President-Elect and First in Nearly Six Months
168 Days Since Last Press Conference
At 11:00 AM EST Donald Trump will hold his first press conference as President-elect and his first press conference in 168 days, despite there being a long tradition of newly-elected presidents holding press conferences shortly after election day, and despite having attacked Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail when she allowed months to go by without holding a press conference.
Clearly, Trump will be confronted and forced to discuss the bombshell news published by both CNN and Buzzfeed Tuesday night, that U.S. intelligence officials have a dossier, which Buzzfeed apparently published, that alleges the Russians have compromising information about disturbing actions by him.
Many other topics should be on the table too including his disturbing spate of cabinet and administration nominees, nepotism, his ties to Russia, his refusal to release his taxes, among others.
Trump originally had scheduled a press conference in December, which he postponed to today, to discuss his immense conflicts of interest and explain how he will manage them.
You can watch live below, and on most TV networks and cable news networks.
