Watch: Bernie Sanders Talks With Jimmy Kimmel About His Debate With Donald Trump
Says he is “the candidate most likely to defeat Trump, and beat him badly.”
Bernie Sanders is looking forward to debating Donald Trump. He sat down with ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night, just one day after Kimmel had asked Trump on Sanders’ behalf for the debate. Both have agreed to a debate before the California primaries.
Senator Sanders took a few swipes at Hillary Clinton, telling Kimmel he thinks it’s “insulting the people of the largest state in the United States of America are not to come forward to talk about the issues the serious issues that impact this state and impact the country.”
He also said Secretary Clinton showed “just a tinge of arrogance” when she told CNN she would be the nominee of the Democratic Party, and “that there is no way I won’t be.”
