Two Top News Magazines Sum Up the Trump Presidency in Similar Themed Covers
Trump Digging His Own Hole?
The Economist and The New Yorker just released their latest editions and the covers tell a similar story summing up The Trump presidency.Â
The Economist, complete with an animated cover, depicts “The Trump Presidency So Far,” as the magazine’s Motion Designer posted to Twitter:

The New Yorker also shows President Trump, golfing, at the White House:

Via The New Yorker:
“I see that the word ‘duffer’ is defined as ‘a person inexperienced at something, especially at playing golf,’ “ Barry Blitt says, about his cover for the upcoming issue. “That’s the word that comes to mind as I watch President Trump plowing one drive after another through the glass windows of American politics.â€Â
The Hollywood Reporter’s Ryan Parker makes a keen observation:
The @NewYorker artist who drew the latest cover did one hell of a job. Check it out. pic.twitter.com/WbuAS7wEvT

And another observation:
@NewYorker Blitt didn’t even have to exaggerate the @realDonaldTrump physique. pic.twitter.com/S4aH8p0jIl
