Trump Tweets Support for International Women’s Day. Twitter Reminds Him of His Previous Statements.
‘There Is Literally a Wikipedia Page About His Boasts of Sexual Assault’
President Donald Trump Wednesday morning posted two tweets in support of International Women’s Day. If this were any other president this act would likely be praised. If this were any other president people wouldn’t bat an eye. But this is Donald Trump, and given his decades-worth of misogyny and the countless accusations against him of sexual assault and sexual harassment, no one’s really buying he woke up this morning a changed man. Also, the tweets do not sound like anything he’s ever said or written.
“I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy,” is not a typical Trump sentiment. “On International Women’s Day, join me in honoring the critical role of women here in America & around the world.”
People on Twitter certainly weren’t buying it, so they decided to remind the sexual assault braggart of what’s he’s really said about women.
