President Trump has chosen to weigh in on the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, tweeting his "prayers and condolences."

There are reports of 20 injured students and some reports of fatalities but none officially confirmed.

Florida U.S. Senator Bill Nelson live on MSNBC has said there are "a number of fatalities."

President Trump and the GOP have refused to allow any additional legislation to regulate guns, bullets, or accessories like "bump stocks" used in the nation's deadliest mass shooting to become law.

On the anniversary of the Sandy Hook school shooting that left 20 first grade students dead along with six school officials, President Trump hosted NRA chief Wayne LaPierre in the White House.

This is the 19th school shooting this year.
