Trump’s New National Security Advisor John Bolton ‘Wants to Go to War First, Diplomacy Second’ Says Bush White House Lawyer
Bolton Could ‘Put Us in a Nuclear War’
In a move that has stunned and scared the nation, President Donald Trump Thursday evening announced he is replacing National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster with John Bolton. Former George W. Bush Chief Ethics Attorney Richard Painter worked in the White House when Bolton was Bush’s Ambassador to the United Nations, and is warning that Bolton is extremely dangerous.
“He’s not only a hawk, he is extremely reckless. He wants to go to war first, diplomacy second,” Painter told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
Painter says Bolton, as Trump’s National Security Advisor, “could really be a terrible situation – put us in a nuclear war. He could go after North Korea, and that could result in millions of people being killed.”
Painter also said Bolton would go after Iran, and would try to rope nations like China and Russia into his wars.
John Bolton is going to “get us into war in the Middle East,” Painter warned.
