Despite having won the election more than three months ago President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally this Saturday in Melbourne, Florida. His campaign website lists the event and allows supporters to RSVP to sign up for tickets.

It’s unclear why Trump would hold a campaign rally. It’s also not known if his campaign or the taxpayers are footing the bill.
Repeated reports have stated Trump misses campaigning and the positive feedback he received for the nearly 18 months he held multiple rallies a day. He thrives off that energy and reportedly spends his evenings alone in the White House, as his wife and young son are still living in New York at Trump Tower.
Since becoming president less than four weeks ago Trump has been besieged by countless scandals, all of his own making.Â
Trump lambasted President Barack Obama for golfing and for taking vacations, even though the 44th president took fewer vacation days – far less than half – than his predecessor, George W. Bush, and just 41 more than President Bill Clinton.
Â
But by Saturday Trump will have been president for just four weeks, and will have spent three weekends in a row at Mar-a-Lago, his Florida home and golf resort.
UPDATE:
This is, as NCRM reported, officially a campaign event, although it’s still unclear who is footing the bill. Taxpayers will pay a portion of it, but how much?
