Smoke, Possibly Tear Gas Being Dispersed
43-year old Keith Lamont Scott is dead after a Charlotte, North Carolina police officer shot and killed him around 4 PM Tuesday. Officers claim Scott, a father of seven, was armed, but relatives insist Scott only had a book in his hand. The local media appear to be siding with law enforcement’s story:

“He was waiting on his son to get from school and police came out with no.. he didn’t have on no uniform to determine if he was a police or not — he was an undercover and he just jumped out and yelled ‘gun’ and shot at him,” Keith Lamont Scott’s brother told NBC Charlotte. “I think they shot him four times, I’m not sure, but he’s dead.”Â
