Monday night’s despicable terror attack in Manchester at an Ariana Grande concert was pure evil, especially as it targeted an event filled mostly with young people.

Here are five things you need to know for today:
- The Manchester death toll rose overnight to 22, and it includes children. 59 others were injured. Police say the known the identity of the lone attacker, killed in the blast. And they’ve arrested a 23-year old man in conjunction with the attack. (Washington Post)
- Prime Minister Theresa May called it a a “callous, terrorist attack,†saying: “This attack stands out for its appalling, sickening cowardice deliberately targeting innocent defenceless children and young people who should have been enjoying one of the most memorable nights of their lives.â€

- President Donald Trump also spoke out overnight on the attack, calling the terrorists involved “evil losers.”Â
