J.K. Rowling Epically Trolls Trump’s Tweet Proclaiming ‘IN AMERICA…WE WORSHIP GOD!’
BAM!
In addition to effectively firing 10,000 – 15,000 transgender service members via Twitter and continuing his attack on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, President Donald Trump tweeted on Wednesday, “IN AMERICA WE DON’T WORSHIP GOVERNMENT – WE WORSHIP GOD!”

It is a vile and reprehensible attack on the First Amendment, but the embattled president is doing everything he can to retain support from the 81 percent of white evangelical Christians who still support him, no matter what.Â
First amendment, dude. You might want to check it out. https://t.co/C29VAXWBBM

To be clear, the President doesn’t get to tell Americans who or what to worship – or not. That’s not his right, as President, but Tuesday night, Trump didn’t care.Â
The tweet he posted links to an Instagram video (above) of him saying those offensive words:Â “IN AMERICA WE DON’T WORSHIP GOVERNMENT – WE WORSHIP GOD!” at a campaign rally in Ohio.
Beloved author and activist J.K. Rowling, best known for creating the Harry Potter series of books and movies, wasted little time epically trolling the President.

Well-played, Ms. Rowling, well-played!Â
