Internet Scorches Trump for Telling Americans to Have a ‘Very Reflective’ President’s Day
‘I’m Going to Reflect on the Days When We Actually Had a President’
President Donald Trump, tweeting from his Mar-a-Lago resort Monday morning, urged Americans to have a “very reflective” President’s Day. It was unclear what the president was referring to. Other national holidays, such as Memorial Day, were created to be national days of reflection.
President’s Day technically isn’t even a national holiday, although Washington’s Birthday, celebrated on the third Monday in February, is.
Many on social media scored the president for his odd tweet.
Thanks! I’ll be honoring every president except for you, and reflecting on how happy I’ll be when your treasonous ass is removed from the White House and you’re thrown in jail for betraying the United States of America.

It’s President’s Day – the day we reflect on what it was like when America actually had a President.

Thank you Mr. Trump. I hope you have a very reflective day too. Reflect on your past crimes, your failures in business, Mueller’s indictments, the guilty pleas, the turmoil in your personal life and the sordid legacy you’ll leave #resist #impeach #indivisible https://t.co/nUlbLDtMp1

I’m reflective, #trump. I remember when the US had real @POTUS. I didn’t agree with all of them. But I respected the office. You are nothing but a con man and a common criminal. A traitor to this great nation. So Happy #PresidentsDay2018. I pray you’re in prison next year. #MAGA pic.twitter.com/dZvzrYDiGA
