Here’s What Donald Trump Just Said When Asked About Lying
Serial Liar Donald Trump on Lying
Donald Trump was asked about lying in an interview with a newly-launched news site, Axios. Here’s what he had to say.
“I don’t like to lie, no. I don’t like to lie, no,” Trump told the new site, headed by former Politico co-founders. “It’s something that–it’s not something that I would like to be doing.”
When asked, “Is it ever ok to lie?” Trump responded:Â
“I don’t want to answer the question because it’s–it gets to, you know, a different level than what we’re talking about for this interview.”
Truly disappointing that the man who in 48 hours will be sworn in as president, as commander-in-chief, as the leader of the free world, has opted to squirm and squiggle, to be defensive, rather than take a moral high ground, a leadership position, and set the example for all Americans, especially our children.
