GOP Senate Majority Leader Tells Trump to ‘Get on Message’ (Video)
Senator Mitch McConnell Refuses to Call Trump’s Racist Attacks Racist
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell minutes ago said Donald Trump should stop “attacking various people” that he’s “competed with or various minority groups in the country” because “this election is eminently winnable, the American people at their core do not want four more years like the past eight.”
McConnell, who made his remarks in a press conference, repeatedly refused to characterize Trump’s racist attacks on U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel as racist.
Instead, he said his advice to Trump is “get on message.”

“Stop attacking various minorities!” – says McConnell, even as he & his party continue to viciously attack LGBT groups and deny them rights.

Mitch McConnell’s statements today were just pure Mitch McConnell. Weak, lacking any trace of leadership, cowardly.

I’m sure Mitch McConnell’s stern words will convince Donald Trump to tone it down, given his long record of respect for the establishment.
