  • Armed 'Patriot' Militia Has Taken Over A Federal Building In Oregon, Say They're Willing To Kill

Anti-government radical Cliven Bundy says three of his sons and about 150 supporters are occupying a U.S. government installation.

Here it is. Please know these men will speak to people civilly. Do not go up there guns blazing. Stay safe and smart.

Posted by Sarah Dee Spurlock on Saturday, January 2, 2016

A few hundred supporters of two ranchers convicted of arson on federal lands marched in Burns, Oregon this afternoon for about 40 minutes, and when it was over several anti-government "patriot" militia members took over a federal installation. The leaders of the group include three sons of Cliven Bundy, a Nevada rancher who leased federal lands for decades yet refused to pay over $1 million in grazing fees to the government. For weeks in 2014 Bundy Ranch supporters engaged in a heavily armed standoff with federal authorities.

Cliven Bundy is not believed to be part of the takeover directly, but Ammon Bundy, Cliven's son, has issued a call for fellow militia supporters to join him and what his father claims are 150 men who have taken over a federal headquarters building at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

They claim "the federal government had no authority in Harney County" and they will be there for years to come, and are willing to defend themselves. Another Bundy son, Ryan Bundy, reportedly says they're willing to kill and be killed:

In response, local authorities have already announced schools will be closed for the next week.

"We're planning on staying here for years, absolutely," Ammon Bundy said, the AP reports. "This is not a decision we've made at the last minute."

UPDATE: Domestic Terrorists In Oregon Standoff Now Have Kids In Federal Building, Want To Overthrow Gov't.

Many on social media are calling the occupiers domestic terrorists and believe if they were Black the scene would be a lot different.

@tom, The public lands did not once belong to ranchers. It is sacred land for the Indians in that area. It’s a bird sanctuary for a reason, made to help our wildlife survive and flourish. Letting them steal the land so their cows can graze on land that doesn’t belong to them is called stealing. They have for several years tried to take land that doesn’t belong to them. They epitomize a terrorist group. Since they are a bunch of wannabe warriors coming from all over the states, they can’t, and won’t be called a well regulated militia because it is not well regulated. So yes, they are breaking the law, several of them actually, and since it’s a federal building, they are breaking federal laws, and each one should be tried for treason, sedition, and domestic terrorism. We aren’t ignorant, as proven by our spelling and putting sentences together with all the letters it takes to spell a word correctly. You see, when a person goes around telling others that they are the ignorant ones, while not being able to spell so many words, is certainly ignorant himself. Instead of ad hominem attacks, perhaps you give us links, and proof as to what you’re trying to say. That way you don’t come off as being so ignorant yourself.

Ok lets see… From announcing their patriots to the government controlled media calling them domestic terrorists interesting. I am a Viet Nam vet who fought for this country unwittingly until i educated myself
The so-called “public” lands u all are so stirred up about did once belong to ranchers So ur reaction to this is moot and unmitigated anger of outrage is ridiculous
If any of u bleeding hearts would do your research u would kno that “public” lands were taken from private owners using the guise of “public” domain!!
So i say either b ignorant an shut ur pie holes or educate urselves befor u blaspheme the social networks with ur ignorant blathering!!
      Nuff said

I SAY …. KILL THEM BACK. They are ignorant people thinking it is okay to take ( STEAL ) land that isn’t theirs. Get the national guard out there and just shoot them all.

    • commented 2016-01-03 22:14:44 -0500
Just shoot them. I mean that’s what police in the USA do when black people carry around guns. This should apply to white people that fucking POINT guns at them too, right??

    • commented 2016-01-03 19:41:37 -0500
Let’s give them what they want, send in the police/army and kill them all.

This is treason: stealing public and federal land. The penalty for treason is life in prison. It should be death. Ideally the feds will send in a drone to execute all these traitors. All. Every female and male that has invaded government land and / or building(s), They will soon learn they are not the law, and the government is stronger.

Notice these actions are all taking place in liberal-leaning states but not in Texas, etc. (what happened to Jade Helm btw?)

When I heard “federal building” I pictured OK City’s Authur Murraugh (sp?). This looks like a tourist info booth. 150 inside? Seems like all terrorist groups like to inflate their numbers (and seek martyrdom). Do they also believe in 72 virgins for their “reward”?

So they are taking a stand against the government to see a restoration of control over land and resources to local inhabitants, as is their God given right?

It is very courageous and noble of them to risk themselves for the sake of what is fair and just, but nowhere in any of the coverage about this does it mention when they intend to sign their properties back over to the Burns Paiute people and move on.

Sadly, with the Syrian refugee crisis European nations might not welcome any more groups of armed religious zealots, but their efforts to reclaim what was once legitimately the lands of their ancestors will no doubt be persuasive.

I wonder if they plan to fly or use boats, I’ve never thought of ranchers and miners being very nautically oriented…

These are not “patriots.” These people are criminals. Like we need a bunch of crazy, arrogant, condescending, testosterone driven pissant, hotrod cowboys acting like “patriots” and like they are doing this country a favor.

Militia my ass. These guys are domestic terrorists and should be dealt with as such.

    • commented 2016-01-03 14:03:07 -0500
Also you can’t be an anti govt militia and a patriot at the same time. Bad choice of words

    • commented 2016-01-03 14:02:17 -0500
They aren’t patriots. Those are terrorists.

    • commented 2016-01-03 13:59:46 -0500
These aren’t “militia.” They’re terrorists, or perhaps they are armed insurgents against the US government on US soil. In any event, my question is why the state’s national guard hasn’t been mobilized and the rebellion quelled. I think the solution becomes more obvious when we stop legitimizing these people as a “militia.” They are best described as terrorists or insurgents.

The Bundy right wing terrorist clan are at it again taking over a Federal Office Bldg. with an armed militia. It’s time to send a clear signal to these domestic terrorist and drone their stupid asses. They are nothing but NRA sponsored criminals and if the NRA doesn’t like it? Then drone their asses too~ WJU #MalheurNationalWildlifeRefuge

Where are the armed military? If they’re willing to die to steal federal land, which also happens to belong to the people, I say go in there with the military and take control of the situation. Please Obama, don’t try to negotiate with them, they are terrorists, plain and simple. Bomb the fucking building if you have to, but get rid of them asap!

Remember, BLM and OWS protestors are lawless thugs, but these guys are patriots!
The “fair and balanced” commentators on FOX News told me so, and so it must be true.

WILLING TO KILL.. But are rhese fatties willing to starve? #MALHEUR BUILDING CONFISCATED BY WHIYE TERRORIST MILITIA in Burns, OREGON
THEY ARE WHITE so no one in Law Enforcement cares … I say let them have it ..Though its a neat old place, been there. Keep power and water and sewer off, and dont allow food in. They wont be happy long. Remember Armies run on their stomachs.

    • commented 2016-01-03 07:51:16 -0500
      Several points.
The land belongs to the US Government.
It is a wildlife refuge for a reason and not to be ranched, farmed or hunted on.
If they were not white christians, they would have already been slaughtered and this is a great example of the racist way events are handled.
Cut every source of power and water. Block long and short range radio and internet. Do not allow anyone on the compound.
Unless they come out with their hands in the air and a white flag, shoot them. If they live, make sure they pay their own bill.
These people are terrorists. Home grown terrorists who think they know better than the government and refuse to work with it. They are probably religious bordering on zealotry. Religious zealotry is a mental illness so I don’t put it past them to do, say or try anything.

The United States as a history of dealing with armed rebellions. It isn’t a ‘peaceful solution’.

    • commented 2016-01-03 04:22:02 -0500
Turn off the electricity, phones, water and block the sewers. Put a blockade around the building and land. Don’t allow ANYONE in, regardless of the reason, except for medical evacuation. Wait them out and when they do come out arrest, jail them, and charge them for illegal occupation and whatever damages they caused and the wages of the people that had to keep an eye on their stupid asses.

    • commented 2016-01-03 04:17:21 -0500
Why hasnt the cops brought the hammer down on these rebels yet?! This basically armed rebellion!
