Breaking: Philadelphia Police Will Arrest Three In Anti-Gay Attack On Gay Couple
Arrest warrants have been issued for three members of the anti-gay gang that allegedly attacked a same-sex couple in Philadelphia on Sept. 11.Â
Warrants are in the hands of the Philadelphia Police this afternoon after the District Attorney signed off on the arrests of three Bucks County residents who will be charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person (REAP), and Criminal Conspiracy.

Buzzfeed’s Tony Merevick is reporting that “Philadelphia Police spokeswoman Rhonda Bowens told BuzzFeed News that authorities will wait for the three to turn themselves in for arrest.”
“I would like to thank the police for their thorough investigation and the public for the outpouring of information and tips in this case,†said District Attorney Seth Williams in the statement. “This vicious attack shocked the entire country. An assault on people because of their sexual orientation has no place in Philadelphia.â€
One police officer, as The New Civil Rights Movement reported earlier, believes there were up to 15 members in the group. It is unknown how many were actually involved in the assault or contributed to the incident.Â
There has been no word if this is just the first round of arrests, if there will be others, or if the police investigation is closed.
The victims, aged 27 and 28, were sent to the hospital after the alleged assault. One will have his jaw wired shut for two months. Both received serious injuries to the face.
