Trump Goes Ballistic in New All-Caps ‘BOMBSHELLS’ Tweet
Too Much Executive Time
President Donald Trump is still looking for validation of his false claim that the Obama administration was targeting him. It started almost a full year ago, when he insisted – with exactly zero proof – that President Barack Obama wiretapped him.
Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

Trump has pursued this fantasy conspiracy theory, aided and abetted by Fox News, the far right, and Republican politicians.
And now, according to right wing news organization, one of the two FBI investigators removed from the Russia investigation supposedly had sent a text saying President Obama (supposedly) “wants to know everything.”
“POTUS wants to know everything we’re doing,” Lisa Page allegedly said via text to Peter Strzok.
Here’s how President Trump just responded:
NEW FBI TEXTS ARE BOMBSHELLS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 7, 2018
No, they’re not.Â
They also praised then-FBI Director Comey, as Talking Points Memo reports:
“God he is SO good,†Strzok said. “I know,†Page responded. “Brilliant public speaker. And brilliant distillation of fact.â€
Given that trump fired Comey on the false claim he was incapable of heading the FBI, the texts praising Comey are more of a bombshell than any others.
UPDATE:
CNN reporter notes Trump posted his crazed tweet during the middle of his intelligence briefing:
According to the president’s schedule, he was supposed to begin receiving his intelligence briefing 14 minutes ago in the Oval Office, where there is no television. https://t.co/o4dDRUGSsb
