The Orlando shooting was beyond tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims and their families in Orlando.

This shooting was the most tragic in not only LGBT history, but in U.S history.

We must stay focused and aware of what is going on around us at all times. However We must embrace Pride month and celebrate our victories.

What a waste of time. The hate is beyond words. We didn’t have a problem with our transgender family using the restroom before, so why is it such a big issue now?

This is ridiculous! No one should be denied a haircut…especially a veteran!

Great to have leaders like AG Cooper!

This is ridiculous! I look forward to his prosecution. This certainly fits the criteria for a hate crime.

Good for the NFL! Georgia would be smart to listen to the over 500+ businesses, and hundreds of thousands of constituents against this bill.

Let’s hope. The GOP Leadership are certainly violating their oaths of office, as well as failure to fulfill their mandatory constitutional role in the SCOTUS nomination process.

The United States Constitution is clear, The President “shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint….Judges of the Supreme Court” which clearly stresses their constitutional obligation. Furthermore, “By and with” indicates that the Senate’s role is mandatory. It is our job as voters and citizens to fight for what the American People deserve — and I plan on doing just that.
U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 2, Paragraph 2:

He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.

Good thing he won’t be our next President. ;)

I stand 100% behind these students and their GSA. I am mindblown that these folks are full of such hatred. These young people need to know they are supported and being gay is okay.
