Post image for Barbara Streisand: Vote For President Barack Obama (Video)

Barbara Streisand just recorded this video in support of President Barack Obama‘s re-election. After detailing all the reasons she has to vote for Obama, she closes with, “For me the choice is clear. I hope it is for you.”

Those reasons range from Obama’s work that saved us from plunging into a depression and the fact that the economy is getting better, Obama’s support for a woman’s right to choose, his support of Planned Parenthood, contraception rights, LGBT rights, Obamacare, the President’s support of Israel and his work making sanctions against Iran the strongest ever.

Frankly, there really is no choice, except Obama.

Mitt Romney doesn’t have a plan that would work to help the economy and the middle class. His “plans” will plunge America’s poor and middle class into a dire economic condition, Romney would roll back civil rights gains, and Romney would hand this country over to the hard right.

Watch:

Streisand, now 70, has “won two Academy Awards, eight Grammy Awards, five Emmy Awards including one Daytime Emmy, a Special Tony Award, an American Film Institute award, a Kennedy Center Honors award, a Peabody Award, and is one of the few entertainers who has won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award.,” according to Wikipedia:

She is one of the most commercially and critically successful entertainers in modern entertainment history, with more than 71.5 million albums shipped in the United States and 140 million albums sold worldwide. She is the best-selling female artist on the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) Top Selling Artists list, the only female recording artist in the top ten, and the only artist outside of the rock and roll genre. Along with Frank Sinatra, Cher and Shirley Jones, she shares the distinction of being awarded an acting Oscar and also recording a number-one single on the U.S.Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Never too old to be corrected… it's "Barbra."
