Watch: ‘Obama May Well Be A Homosexual’ Says Candidate For Governor

Post image for Watch: ‘Obama May Well Be A Homosexual’ Says Candidate For Governor

Scott Lively, running as an independent to become the governor of Massachusetts says he thinks Barack Obama “may be” gay, and calls the President a “radical homosexualist.”

Lively is the head of a certified anti-gay hate group and is the Massachusetts Evangelical pastor on trial in federal court for crimes against humanity. He is largely blamed for fostering the environment that helped create Uganda’s infamous “Kill the Gays” bill, that was modified into the Anti-Homosexuality Act — replacing the death penalty with life in prison.

“I think Mr. Obama may well be a homosexual himself,” Lively told the UK’s Channel 4 News’ Inigo Gilmore recently. “He is certainly a radical homosexualist – meaning a person, whether they are homosexual or not, meaning a person who is 100 per cent invested in the homosexual agenda.”

“So you think Obama is a homosexual?,” Gilmore, in the video below, presses.

“I think he may be,” Lively responds.

Inigo Gilmore reports that he “asked Dr Lively what his view was based upon and he referred to an article on an online site, World Net Daily.”

(World Net Daily, or WND, it should be noted, is home to the Tea Party’s birther conspiracists and claims that Obama is gay and married his college roommate from Pakistan.)

Gilmore continues:

When I asked if he thought President Obama was part of the gay agenda, he replied: “Anyone who is trying to break down the protections for the natural family and legitimize sexual perversion is complicit in the recruitment of children.”

I asked: “How is President Obama supposed to do that?” He said that the president was supporting gay activists behind “a destructive homosexual agenda”. He stated: “Well, he (Obama) is lending the weight of his office to a movement that’s goal is to overturn the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic and replace it with the gay ethic of sexual anarchy. That’s what he’s doing.”

Watch:

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified Lively as a Republican candidate, based on a petition on his campaign site. Lively technically is running as an independent.

This guy is some kind of paranoid crazy. His religion has led him to hate, not love. It would be easy to dismiss him out of hand, except for his influence on government policy in other nations.

“He is certainly a radical homosexualist – meaning a person, whether they are homosexual or not, meaning a person who is 100 per cent invested in the homosexual agenda.” Based on this criteria — his own, Scott Lively may also be a homosexual. He has a 100 percent investment in "the homosexual agenda" himself even though his goal is to stop it (like it even exists.) We know that many closet homosexuals are the most vehement opposers of our rights. All the evidence adds-up: Scott Lively is a homosexual.

This is true. Truly heterosexual people are far too busy chasing the opposite sex to care what gays get up to. Most of my friends are straight and they don't show 1/10 of the obsession with my homosexuality that homophobic commenters do when they cruise gay topic forums, commenting obsessively. As Shakespeare observed through Hamlet, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks".

Homophobes are often closet homosexuals who display an irrational obsession with homosexuality. Their inversion is brought about usually by having been raised in anti-gay households, perhaps surrounded by the same at school and at work, and so have to repress their homosexuality. Who would ever suspect a gay basher is actually gay themselves the whole time?

Famous examples include George 'Rent Boy' Rekers, Rev. Ted Haggard, Bishop Eddie Long, Cardinal Keith O'Brien, Senator Roy Ashburn…

I respectfully submit my parody about 'reparation therapy' for Mr. Lively's consideration. For decades, I have worked with LGBT clients who have been bullied and abused by (so called) 'well meaning' folks who simply wanted to help them turn 'straight'. The scars these wonderful souls carry will never heal. We humans are born either straight or gay, end of story. I still think it would be fun to one day have a faux revival, reversing the discrimination, and working to shame straight people into turning LGBT people. I mean, if Mr. Lively and his followers believe they can turn gay people straight, shouldn't the opposite be just as valid? Here's the song….
http://youtu.be/FNrb43_9meg

it's called "Let us Help You Pray The 'Straight' Away" … and, Mr. Lively, this will never happen, because LGBT folks don't waste their time or energy trying to change what cannot be changed.

There are too many vital issues facing all of us–the human family on this big blue marble–can we just put this silly debate to rest, once and for all???

Isn't he supposed to be on trial for crimes against humanity or some such? If such is the case, how can he even THINK about running for a governor position? UGH…stupid people on both ends. This fellow for being a hateful, shameful human, and the government for slacking on prosecuting him.

this poor puppy is fighting so hard against demons that undoubtedly inhabit his own psyche.

In other words, he's a self-hating closet-case.

This has got to be a early April Food joke. This man can not be seriously thinking of running for governor of any state.

‘Obama May Well Be A Homosexual…’

You say that like it's a bad thing. Or like it makes any lick of difference on his ability to govern.

It is MORE likely this idiot is Gay and he's trying to switch attention off of himself.. DIRT bag Republicans do that kind of stuff even the Gay ones!!!! That's how we get Gay Republicans!!!

They are coming out with wild stuff!

This cuts to the heart of the idea that only gay people could support equal rights for gays. That is obviously as ridiculous as saying only black people could support equal rights for African Americans, or that only women could support their own equal rights.

The truth is that most of the support for LGBT equality comes from straight allies, generally our families, friends and political advocates. Without heterosexual majority support, our human rights issues never stood a chance.

Dr. Freud would have had a field day with Lively. His theory of projection applies. Lively goes about accusing everyone but himself of being gay, but if he'd take a long, honest look at the person in the mirror, he might eventually recognize that it really does take one to know one.
