Post image for 12 Best Responses To Barilla’s ‘I Would Not Do A Commercial With A Homosexual Family’

After the chairman of Barilla pasta — a $5.25 billion international corporation — said he would never show a gay family in his advertising — and if gay people don’t like it the can go eat someone else’s pasta, the world went to work.

Many other pasta companies released marketing to show support for the LGBT community (and grab some business!) and the spoofers went to work.

We scoured the internets to find the best responses — here they are.

Funny! We eat what ever is on sale. I am fond of all rainbow pasta.

I've found a lot of people saying to dispose of their pasta and sauces. While I can't say that the 'sauce' can be donated to a food bank, I would say put the pasta that you do have into some ziplock bags and DONATE it to a food bank that doesn't discriminate based on sexual orientation/gender identity!

That way you are not wasting your money (since you already BOUGHT it) AND you're helping feed those that need it.

If I send my straight, traditional-family-only pasta back to Barilla, will they send my gay dollar back?

There's this one too – "would you like some homophobia with that?"
